What are lip lines?
Lip lines are the vertical wrinkles above your upper lip caused by expression, smoking, sun damage, genetics, and unavoidable collagen loss. Lip lines progress with age.
What is microneedling?
Microneedling uses a pen-like device to create microscopic injuries in the skin which signal skin cells to form new collagen during the repair process. It is very effective at improving general upper lip texture and minimizing lines.
What is lip colour restoration?
Lip colour restoration is the restoration of lip colour with permanent makeup pigment. Lip colour can be applied as a wash of sheer colour or more heavily, similar to lipstick, and is available in a variety of colours. For details, read about lip blush and liner.
How do I know which lip line treatment is right for me?
You can select your preferred treatment(s) and book them yourself through our online booking system or, for best results, contact us to book a consultation and get recommendations.
Are there any contraindications to these lip line treatments?
Yes. We will ask you for a full history including current and past skincare products and medications. We may postpone your treatment if there is any concern regarding these.
Do you ever refuse to do a lip line treatment?
Yes. There are occasions where client expectations are not realistic or where we choose not to proceed for other reasons.
